Would it be worth it to hire online freelance workers from the Philippines? Even Google and Yahoo does not encourage telecommuting anymore. Why should I if the gurus have tested it and seen it does not work?

My observation all these years is: Not all people with an internet connection can work at home. However, there is a very small percent of people who DO thrive, perform well and even enjoy working for you, regardless of physical location.

For Online Retailers: Ready, Get Set, Go Pre-Halloween Black Friday Mode!



Online retailers are on Black Friday mode even before halloween this year, according to a Consumer Reports article on Yahoo.  The report says some online retailers have already super slashed prices and generously added the free shipping treat for the early Christmas shoppers.

It's about how many weeks to thanksgiving, five?...  At this rate, someday we'll have black Friday sales as early as February.

Just giving you the heads-up that your competitors already have their hands in customers' Christmas Funds as early as now.

And what are you waiting for?  Shoo, time to strategize (if you still don't have any) and implement your Christmas sales programs ;-)
